Melody Marie Fitness: Almost 40 and Fabulous

​

If you are actively involved in the Metro Atlanta fitness scene, there is a good chance you know the name Melody Marie. In fact, you probably have seen her or her clients on the covers of fitness magazines and on stages at various fitness competitions hosted by Master Trainer Carlos Jordan.

But more than that, Melody’s passion for health and wellness allows her  to work with other amazing fitness professionals, inspire clients, and fight childhood obesity with an innovating health and wellness company named Body by Visalus.

Shine Walker, who began training under Melody’s supervision in March of this year says, “Melody always tells me to surround myself with those who challenge you, push you, and motivate you.”

“Once you start something and stick with it long enough, you will see awesome results,” replies Melody. “You’re the only one keeping you from reaching your full potential” Shine adds.

This type of relationship, enthusiasm, and energy is what motivates her colleagues, long-time clients and new clients to stay with her. Training at a local gym, Ultimate Bodies by Carlos in the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta, Melody knows what it is like to begin and maintain a fitness routine. “I have enhanced individual skills and my education to experience and be victorious with health and wellness challenges,” says Melody.

With her many accomplishments, awards, clients, and “six pack,” one would think Melody has plateaued in her career, yet she is just getting started.

Raised by a single mother until the end of middle school and born into a close knit family, with an abundance of extended family, Melody Marie grew up in Union City, California. Throughout her middle school and high school years, she participated and excelled in track and field, volleyball, and basketball. Weighing a little over one hundred pounds and standing just under five feet three, Melody is an athletic force to be reckoned with.
